Wudhu' (Ablution)

How to perform Wuduk ?

1) Wash both hands

Say Bismillah. Then wash the right hand up to the wrist. Do this 3 times. Repeat the same for the left hand. Ensure that your nails are free from dirt and filth.

2) Rinse the mouth

Rinse the mouth 3 times to cleans the mouth from food remnants caught between the teeth.

3) Clean the nostrils.

Sniffing the water and then blowing out will clean the nostrils. Do it 3 times.

4) Wash the face

Invoke the niat for wudhu'. " Nawaitu raf 'al hadaasil asghaari lillahi ta'ala. Then wash the whole from forehead to chin, and up to the ears. Do it 3 times.

5) Wash the arms up to the elbows

Begin with the right arm. Do this 3 times. Then wash the left arm 3 times. The water must cover from the tip of the fingers to the elbow.

6) Rub the head

Wet the right palm with water and then rub the head from front to back. Do this 3 times.

7) Rub both ears

Wet both hands and then use the thumbs and fingers to rub both ears at the same time. Do this 3 times.

8) Wash both feet

Finally, wash both feet from the toes up to the ankle. Begin with right foot. Wash it 3 times follow by the left foot.

Doa after Wuduk

Meaning : I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah, He is one and has no assosciate. And i bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. O Allah, join me with those who repent of their sins again and again, and join me with those who keep themselves near and clean at all times.

After this, we are ready to perform our solat.
